ORLANDO – A day removed from UCF’s inaugural Big 12 Conference baseball schedule being released, first-year head coach Rich Wallace has announced his program’s full 2024 slate. The schedule features 34 home games, as well as 20 contests against opponents who advanced to an NCAA Regional a season ago.
Of the home slate, the Black & Gold will welcome 2023 NCAA Tournament teams Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Samford to John Euliano Park all for three-game series. The Knights will also play 16 games against in-state foes in 2024, which includes a non-conference home series against South Florida, as well as midweek road contests at Miami and Florida.
“We are very pleased with how our 2024 schedule came together. It will be great to be at home each weekend of non-conference play, and our early-season schedule will be key in preparing us for Big 12 competition,” Wallace said. “We can’t wait to get things started in February and are looking forward to hosting a number of top programs here at John Euliano Park this season.”
