VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The UCF women’s golf team put in another stellar effort in round two of the Evie Odom Invitational on Saturday, which ended with the Knights owning a two-stroke lead as they head into the final day tomorrow.
Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham leads the Knights with a score of 139 (-1) through two rounds of play to tie for fifth place. The sophomore is just three strokes behind first place and leads the field with 29 pars.
Molly Smith struggled on the front nine but picked it back up on the back nine to card a 74 (+4), good enough to be tied for 12th place.
Jess Baker is tied for 14th with a two-round score of 143 (+3). Baker rounded out the front nine with back-to-back birdies.
Tunrada Piddon and Brittany Shin are both tied for 18 with a score of 144 (+4).
Competing as an individual, Camille Banzet tallied a 76 with an overall two-round score of 151 to tie for 61st place.
UCF will tee off for the final round of the tournament at 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7.
