Women's Golf Heads to Virginia Beach for Evie Odom Invitational

ORLANDO – The UCF women’s golf team will travel to Virginia Beach this weekend to participate in the Evie Odom Invitational, which will be held Friday through Sunday at the Princess Anne Country Club. UCF will tee off at 10:10 a.m. on Friday.

The Knights will be joined in the event by Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, East Carolina, Furman, Indiana, James Madison, Kent State, Missouri, North Florida, Notre Dame, Old Dominion (host), Penn State and Sacramento State.

This year will mark the fifth time the ODU women’s golf program has hosted a collegiate tournament at the Princess Anne Country Club and this will be the third year under the name Evie Odom Invitational.

Tournament namesake Evie Odom made the largest contribution to a women's sport in the history of ODU Athletics. 

The 54-hole tournament will consist of three rounds with 18 holes on each day.

UCF’s lineup will feature Molly Smith, Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham, Tunrada “Pat” Piddon, Jess Baker, Brittany Shin and Camille Banzet competing as an individual.
