SAUCIER, Miss. – The UCF men’s golf team had a tough day on the course Monday at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational, as the Knights slipped to 12th place on the team leaderboard with a 311 (+23) team score in the second round at the Fallen Oak Golf Course.

On a day when the Knights seemed to not have any luck, Egor Eroshenko paced the squad at one over with a couple birdies. He was one over on the back nine and even on the front nine. The senior is tied for 13th following the first two rounds with an even par 144.

Gustav Andersson fired a 79 (+7), dropping in a team-high four birdies on the day but also had a few bogeys to inflate his score. He’s tied for 42nd after the first two days of action with a 151 (+7). Freshman Hans Risvaer also fired a seven-over-par 79 in the second round, recording a 38 on the back nine and a 41 on the front nine.

Garret Ebbert and Nicholas Estrada were each eight over on Monday with both recording a birdie in the process. Estrada owns a 155 (+11) and Ebbert has a 159 (+15) after the first two rounds. Chase Haygood, competing as an individual, carded an 81 on Monday.

UCF will wrap up play in the Fallen Oak Collegiate Tuesday with the final round, which is set to begin at 10:10 a.m. for the Knights.
