by James Warnick

ORLANDO – Head UCF baseball coach Rich Wallace has announced his team’s fall 2023 exhibition schedule and it features two home games as well as the hosting of the annual Black & Gold World Series.

Each contest of UCF’s fall slate will take place at John Euliano Park and will open with a scrimmage against Florida Tech on Sunday, Oct. 15 (1 p.m.). The annual Black & Gold World Series will then be held the following weekend, Friday to Sunday - Oct. 20-22, and UCF will wrap it’s fall slate with a game against an old rival in Rollins College on Friday, Oct. 27 (5 p.m.). The Rollins exhibition will take place during UCF’s Homecoming Weekend.

“We are excited with how our fall schedule came together and looking forward to getting things going,” said Wallace. “Both Florida Tech and Rollins will be great opponents for us this fall and we can’t wait for these scrimmages. The Black & Gold World Series will also be a good opportunity for everyone to get some playing time and will be vital for our development and success in the spring.”

Admission for each fall contest will be free and open to the public.

The Knights first season of play as members of the Big 12 Conference will then officially get underway the weekend of Feb. 16-18.
