The UCF men’s basketball team has announced its plan to embark on a foreign tour this fall as the team will travel throughout Italy from Aug. 6-16.

“We’re excited to be taking this foreign tour through Italy," said head coach Johnny Dawkins. "With so many new players, the trip will be a chance for them to bond with one another as we get ready for our first year in the Big 12 Conference.”

The Knights will play four games against professional teams in Italy throughout the ten-day excursion. The team will visit Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome, playing one game in each city.

“Getting to see our team on the court in a game setting so early in the fall is huge for us,” said Coach Dawkins. “We’ll be able to get a clear sense of what our guys do at a high level and how they work with each other.”
