ORLANDO - The UCF men's golf team has announced its schedule for the 2023-2024 season, head coach Bryce Wallor announced on Friday. In its first season as a member of the Big 12 Conference, the Knights’ schedule includes a mix of tournaments across the country, including stops in Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, and California.
The fall 2023 season kicks off with the Island Resort Collegiate in Harris, Michigan from Sept. 3-4. UCF will then head to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the Bearcat Invitational on September 18-19. In October, the Knights travel to Houston for the Big 12 Match Play on Oct. 9-11, followed by the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational in Biloxi, Mississippi, on Oct. 15-17.
The Knights open the 2024 calendar year with the Sea Best Invitational in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, on Jan. 29-30. UCF will follow that event with a trip to Gainesville, Florida, for the VyStar Credit Union Gator Invitational on Feb. 17-18.
In March, the Knights compete in The Hayt in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, from March 9-11, followed by the ECU Intercollegiate in Greenville, North Carolina (March 18-19). The Mobile Bay Intercollegiate in Gulf Shores, Alabama, will take place from March 24-26 and UCF’s regular-season slate will conclude with the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational in Augusta, Georgia, on April 6-7.
The Big 12 Championship will be held in Trinity, Texas, at the Whispering Pines Golf Course on April 22-24, followed by the NCAA Regional on May 13-15 at a location to be determined.
The season will culminate with the NCAA Finals in Carlsbad, California, on May 24-29.
UCF welcomes six newcomers to the program for the 2023-24 season, including a few highly-touted transfers. Egor Eroshenko is the team’s lone senior and the Rostov on Don, Russia, native looks to lead the Knights in his final season.
