ORLANDO – Ahead of its inaugural season in the Big 12 Conference, UCF women’s basketball’s 2023-24 schedule pairing has been released, as the conference announced the schedule matrix for the upcoming season on Thursday.
Headlined by six games against teams that participated in the 2023 NCAA tournament, the Knights will play 18 conference games, playing four teams solely at home, four on the road and five both home and away.
UCF will host BYU, reigning Big 12 Champion Iowa State, Kansas and Texas, while traveling to Baylor, Oklahoma, TCU and Texas Tech. The Knights will play Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and West Virginia at home and on the road.
Opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results and a poll of the coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitive balance.
The 2024 Big 12 Conference Championship returns to Kansas City, Missouri at the T-Mobile Center. The women’s championship is slated for March 7-12.
The complete 2023-24 women's basketball regular-season schedule with dates and times will be announced in the fall.
