ORLANDO – The UCF men's soccer team has announced the addition of Carter Sadin to the staff ahead of the 2023 season. He will be the program's Director of Operations.
"I am very excited to join the men's soccer staff here at UCF," said Sadin. "I really enjoyed the conversations with Coach Calabrese and the rest of the staff about the heights they want to take their program to, and I can't wait to be a part of the success that is soon to come!"
Formerly, Sadin was an assistant coach for two seasons with the men's soccer program at Oglethorpe University, a Division III school located in Atlanta. He led all recruiting efforts for the team and signed 10 Division I transfers throughout his tenure. The Stormy Petrels won 13 games across the two seasons that Sadin was on staff, including an unbeaten run in conference play and an appearance in the Southern Athletic Association championship match in 2021.
"We are excited to welcome Carter to UCF," said Calabrese. "He rose to the top of our search very quickly. He is extremely well thought of by those in the soccer community and his qualities were right in line with what we were looking for in the director of ops position. We can't wait for him to get started!"
Before he was coaching at Oglethorpe, Sadin played collegiate soccer as a forward at the University of Lynchburg. He graduated with a degree in sport management and a minor in business. Sadin helped lead the Hornets two conference championships and one NCAA Tournament appearance.
Sadin is a Raleigh, North Carolina native.
