Women's Golf Moves Up to Sixth Place After Day Two

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Knights picked up the pace in round two moving up two spots in the leaderboard to sit in sixth place with a total score of 591 (+15) after 36 holes of play.

UCF is currently two strokes off from fifth place, Texas and South Florida (589, +13). The top five teams from the Palm Beach Gardens regional will advance to the NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona. In first place is Michigan State with a score of 581 (+5).

Currently, Jess Baker leads the Knights in fifth place rounding out day two with a 72 for a total score of 144 (E).

Tunrada Piddon and Pimpisa "Sandwich" Sisutham each recorded the lowest team score of the round with a one-under-71 score. The Thailand natives ended day two with a total score of 148 (+4) to tie for 21st place.

Anna Nordfors ended the day with a 77 (+5) for a total score of 151. The Sweden native is tied for 36th place after 36 holes of place. 

Zoe Allaux shot an 80 (+8) after a tough round to end round two with a score of 157 (+13). She currently sits tied for 54th place. 

The Knights will wrap up play in the Palm Beach Gardens regional with the third and final round on Wednesday. Full results from the Knights' first two days of the regional can be found below.
