Live Results

ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF track and field team will wrap up regular season competition at this weekend's East Coast Relays at the University of North Florida. A short trip north awaits the Knights as the two-day meet will take place at the Jax Track at Hodges Stadium. UCF has had a historic outdoor campaign thus far as the squad was ranked as high as third in the USTFCCCA National Ratings Index and has yet to feature lower than 16th, the first time in program history the Knights have been ranked top-25 in every weekly edition.

This week was the first week all season the Black and Gold saw no change in their position within the poll, checking in at 16th for the second consecutive week. It comes following yet another strong performance at both the LSU Alumni Gold and Georgia Tech Invitational, where the Knights 4x100-meter relay squad of Daija Lampkin, Rayniah Jones, Beyonce Defreitas, and I'Asia Wilson ran the nation's fifth-best time with their 43.26 performance. Three will be in action this weekend as Jones is set to compete in the 100-meter dash and hurdles on Saturday, the latter of which the junior still holds the fourth-best time (12.75) in the nation. The 100-meter hurdles will begin at 1:30 pm, followed by the 400-meter and 100-meter dash at 2:10 pm and 3 pm.

Friday's action will get underway with Alicia Coleman kicking off running events in the 400-meter hurdles at 6 pm, while field events begin with both the long jump and hammer throw. Day one will conclude with three consecutive distance events as a plethora of Knights will compete in the 1500-meter run at 7:30 pm, followed by Brenna Mullaney in the 3000-meter steeple chase at 8:30, and concluded with 5k at 9:20 pm. Distance will then get running events started on Saturday in the 800-meter run as eight athletes will compete in the event.
