ARDMORE, Okla. – The UCF women's golf team picked it up in the second round to jump up six spots to end day one tied in fifth place at Dornick Hills Country Club. The Knights are tied with Charlotte with a score of 585 (+25) after 36 holes while the host North Texas leads the field with a 563 (+3).
Fifth year Anna Nordfors headlined the Black and Gold's showing on Saturday, as she shot a one-under-par 69 in round two to tie for 10th following the opening rounds. She paced UCF with seven birdies on the day.
Pimpisa "Sandwich" Sisutham is four over (144) after firing a 70 (E) in the first round. She recorded three birdies on the day and is tied for 13th on the player leaderboard.
Zoe Allaux recorded a 70 (E) with two birdies on the front nine in round one with a day one score of 149 (+9).
Tunrada Piddon tallied 150 (+10) with a total of five birdies on the day. She is tied for 42nd place. Camille Banzet struggled with hole No. 16 in the first round but was able to overcome it in round two with a bogey to finish the day with a score of 161 (+21).
The Knights are back in action at 9:30 a.m. Sunday for the final round of The Bruzzy.
