Women's Golf Posts Top Five Finish at The Bruzzy

ARDMORE, Okla. – A trio of Knights in the top 20 propelled the UCF women's golf team to a fifth-place finish at The Bruzzy on Sunday with a score of 871 (+31).

Leading the charge for the Knights were graduate Anna Nordfors and freshman Pimpisa "Sandwich" Sisutham. The duo tied for fourth place with a score of 214 (+4). Sisutham posted an even par (70) while Nordfors was 2-over 72 in the final day of the tournament.  

Tunrada Piddon saved her best round for last, as the junior was two under par (68) in the final round to tie for 16th, moving up 26 spots. She recorded two birdies on the front nine and two on the back nine to end with a score of 218 (+8).

Sophomore Zoe Allaux struggled on the back nine to start the day off but picked it up with two birdies on the front nine to record a score of 77 (+7). She finished in T51 place with a score of 226 (+16).

Meanwhile, after a slow start, junior Camille Banzet turned in a 76 (+7) to finish the tournament at 237 (+27), good for T77 place.

The Knights return to Orlando to prepare for the American Athletic Conference Championship, which tees off on April 17 at Southern Hills Golf Club in Brooksville, Florida.
