ORLANDO – The UCF baseball team (19-16, 2-6 AAC) dropped the second game of the weekend series to the Memphis Tigers (19-17, 3-5AAC) with a final score of 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.

For the third consecutive contest, the Knights defense played a flawless game, recording no errors.

Neither team would score again until the seventh inning, where a bases-loaded walk plated the Tigers' third run.

The Knights answered in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single from John Rhys Plumlee that scored Lex Boedicker, who drew a walk to lead off the inning.

Jacob Marlowe went 6.1 innings and tied his career-high single-game strikeouts with six.
