Jess Baker Set for Augusta National Women's Amateur

ORLANDO – The Women's British Amateur Champion, Jess Baker, is back on the course competing in the Augusta National Women's Amateur this week.

Baker will tee off Wednesday morning at 9:44 a.m. on hole No. 1 at Champions Retreat Golf Club and be paired with TCU's Caitlyn Macnab and Ole Miss graduate Julia Johnson. The field will consist of the to 72 amateurs in the final World Amateur Golf Ranking of 2022. Macnab won the 2021 South Africa Women's Amateur, while Johnson is a two-time All-American and winner of the 2021 Annika Intercollegiate.  

The international field will compete across 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut to 30 players and ties taking place after 36 holes. The first two rounds will take place on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30. The entire field will then play Augusta National for an official practice round on Friday, March 31. The final round will take place at Augusta National on Saturday, April 1 and will feature the competitors who made the cut.
