ORLANDO - The UCF rowing team opens its 2023 season with a Senior Day matchup against Miami, Jacksonville and UConn on Lake Pickett Friday morning.
The races open at 9:30 a.m. with the Varsity Eights leading the way followed by the Second Varsity Eights. The Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four boats will follow and the Third Varsity Eights will conclude the races.
Following the races, a Senior Day Celebration will occur celebrating the following rowers:

After a short break and the Knights' only home race of the season at the UCF Intercollegiate Rowing Center, the team will start their road trip with a familiar site in Sarasota, Fla. for the Sunshine State Invite. The two-day regatta will be held March 31 through April 1. This will be UCF's sixth Sunshine State Invite since 2017.
The Knights will be back in Sarasota for the Big 10 Invite from April 7-8 at Nathan Benderson Park for the second and final time of their 2023 campaign.
The Knights will have a break in Orlando before the team heads out to the Old North State for the Lake Wheeler Invite in Raleigh, N.C. The meet will be hosted by North Carolina and Duke on April 21 and 22.
The following week, UCF heads out west to Eugene, Ore. for the Oregon State Invite on April 29. This will mark the Knights' first trip to Oregon since 2016 and the first time back on the west coast since the 2017 Lake Natoma Invite in Sacramento, Calif.
The American Athletic Conference Championships will be back in Oakridge, Tenn. on May 14 with the Knights hoping to grab their sixth conference title in nine years. The 2022 UCF team finished as the runner-up at Lake Melton.
The NCAA Championships take place May 26-28 in Cherry Hill, N.J.
