ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – As one of just six teams to record a team score below par, the UCF men's golf team finished fourth at the Sea Palms Invitational with an 838 (-14) Saturday afternoon at the Sea Palms Resort.
For the third consecutive day, the Knights fired a team score under par with a 283 (-1) in the final round.
UCF tallied 15 birdies on Saturday to finish the invitational with 54, the sixth most by any team in the field. The Knights dropped in 175 pars to lead all teams.
Fifth year Johnny Travale paced the Black and Gold on the player leaderboard, as he fired a 207 (-6) headlined by all three rounds under or even par. In the final round, Travale was four under with a 67 thanks to four birdies and a bogey free round.
He finished tied for 11th in the tournament.
Markus Braadlie, who led UCF with 13 birdies across the three rounds, shot a 210 (-3) following a three over par on Saturday. Braadlie was even on the front nine and was three over on the back nine. He led the field after the first round and was among the top 20 throughout, as he ended the invitational tied for 18th.
Luis Carrera was also among the top 25 on the player leaderboard, carding a 211 (-2) thanks to a one-under-par 70 on Saturday to wrap up play. He turned in a strong final round with four birdies, but one tough hole on No. 8 put his score at one under.
Egor Eroshenko was one over with a 214 after a 72 (+1) in the third round and Chase Haygood recorded a 221 (+8), wrapping up the event with a 74 on Saturday.
Juan Camilo Vesga and Tom Stephens competed in the invitational as individuals with the former firing a 220 (+7) and the latter a 221 (+8).

UCF will return to action at the Schenkel Invitational next weekend (March 17-19) hosted by Georgia Southern at the Forest Heights Country Club.
