Rayniah Jones Qualifies For NCAA Indoor Championships

ORLANDO – For the second time in her career, Rayniah Jones has qualified for the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships, yet another incredible accomplishment for one of the program's most decorated athletes. The All-American will be back competing in the 60-meter hurdles where she left her mark in 2022, finishing third in the nation.

Jones has had yet another solid 2023 indoor season which was wrapped up with a gold medal in the hurdles and silver in the 60-meter dash at conference this past weekend. Her qualifying time though comes from her season-best performance at the Tiger Paw Invite in Clemson, SC., earlier this season. After her 8.12 in the prelims, she then went into the sub 8.10 range, running a 8.08 to finish third in the event.

Nationals will take place on March 10-11 at the Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The 60-meter hurdles prelims are set for 4:55 pm MT / 6:55 pm ET while the finals will take place the following day at 4:40 pm MT / 6:40 pm ET. Both days will be available to stream on ESPN plus.
