ORLANDO – The UCF men's soccer team has added Arne Michaelis as its lone newcomer for the upcoming spring.
Michaelis, a defender from Krefeld, Germany, comes to UCF after spending time in the fourth tier of German soccer, Regionalliga West. He was a part of Borussia Mönchengladbach II. Michaelis ended his tenure with the club with a Champions Cup victory in 2022.
"When I first met the coaching staff and saw pictures of UCF, I had a very good feeling," said Michaelis. "The campus is amazing and I've heard what a brilliant environment it is."
