ORLANDO—The UCF women's basketball team returns to Addition Financial Arena for the first time in 2023, hosting Tulsa on Saturday evening.
The Knights (9-4, 0-1 AAC) are back on their home court for their first home conference matchup against the Golden Hurricane (12-3, 2-0), with tip off slated for 1 p.m.

Coach Messer has been big on getting the rebound and it shows as the Knights are ranked sixth nationally in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 17.2 per game.
The Black and Gold average 45.23 rebounds this season, which ranks 13th in the country, and 23rd with 35.0 in field goal percentage defense.
Destiny Thomas continues to lead the Knights, averaging a double-double with 12.2 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. Anzhané Hutton and Laila Jewett are both the second leading scorers averaging 10.3 points per game.
Scouting Tulsa
The Golden Hurricane are 12-3 overall and 2-0 in American Athletic Conference play. Tulsa ranks first in the country in three-point attempts per game (31.7) and second in three pointers per game (10.6).
Temira Poindexter leads Tulsa with 233 points, averaging 15.5 per game. Maya Mayberry is the second-leading scorer for the Golden Hurricane, averaging 12.1 points, and leads the team in three-pointers with 37 on 96 attempts. Poindexter averages 1.6 blocks per game and Ahrray Young adds 1.7 steals per game.
The Knights hold a 15-7 advantage in the all-time series and have won the last eight games, including their most recent meeting on March 2, 2022.
