Former UCF offensive tackle Ryan Swoboda will participate in the 11th NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Saturday at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.
He will play for the American team coached by former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher.
The game, sponsored by the National Football League Players Association, will kick off at 3 p.m. PT (6 p.m. ET) and will be televised by NFL Network.
Swoboda started all 14 games for the Knights in 2022 at offensive tackle. He helped UCF rank ninth nationally in rushing offense (228.3 yards per game, second in the AAC) in 2022, the fifth straight season the Knights have averaged at least 196 yards per game. The Knights ranked 16th in total offense (469.5 yards per game, second in AAC).
Swoboda (Clermont, Florida) earned first-team all-conference honors in 2022 by vote of AAC coaches and from Phil Steele. He was a second-team selection by Pro Football Focus and an honorable mention pick by Pro Football Network.
He previously started 25 games over four seasons at Virginia.
