UCF football's Ryan Swoboda has been selected to participate in the 2023 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, which gives NFL prospects a chance to showcase their skills and talents in front of scouts and fans.
The 11th NFLPA Collegiate Bowl will be played on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in California, bringing together top draft-eligible players from colleges and conferences across the country. The much-anticipated showcase will be broadcast on NFL Network with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
Swoboda started all 14 games for UCF in 2022 at right tackle. He was tabbed a first team All-AAC selection by the league's head coaches and Phil Steele, while garnering second team honors from Pro Football Focus and honorable mention from Pro Football Network.
The Clermont, Florida, native was a member of the Knights offensive line that featured the same five starters in each game last season. Additionally, the unit paved the way for UCF to rush for the eight-most yards per game in the nation with 228.4. The Knights were 16th nationally in total offense, averaging 469.6 yards per game.
Founded in 2012, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl gives prospective players the best opportunity to showcase their talents to potential employers and fans. Nearly 200 scouts, player personnel staff, general managers and head coaches from all 32 NFL teams are expected be in attendance to watch live practices, conduct player interviews and review tape.
