ORLANDO – UCF Athletics will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day, presented by Orlando Health, with a pair of events in February.
The Knights will host the UCF Women in Sports Dinner, presented by Orlando Health, on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at The Balcony Orlando. The event will take place from 6-9 p.m. Registration, cocktail hour and networking will be held during the first hour, with the program and dinner to follow.
The event will recognize the accomplishments of the student-athletes in our women's sports and share insights into their storied success through the years.
Single tickets are available for $100, which also includes a ticket to the UCF vs. East Carolina women's basketball game set for 2 p.m. on Feb. 4. Table sponsorships are available beginning at $1,000 and include eight tickets to the event. Each table will also include one or two UCF Athletics representatives (coach, student-athlete or administrator) based on sponsorship level. In addition, table sponsors will also receive tickets to the Feb. 4 UCF vs. ECU women's basketball game.
Sponsorships of the UCF Women in Sports Dinner, presented by Orlando Health, are also available. UCF Athletics is seeking additional sponsors for these events. All proceeds will benefit UCF women's athletics programs. NGWSD Children's Clinic
The second event taking place in recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day will be a free children's sports clinic featuring numerous UCF coaches and student-athletes on Saturday, Feb. 4. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. and the event will run from 12-1:30 p.m. The clinic is open to children in eighth grade or below and will take place at The Venue at UCF, located directly to the north of Addition Financial Arena. All participants in the children's clinic will receive a UCF T-shirt (while supplies last) and free admission to the women's basketball game vs. ECU at 2 p.m. after the clinic concludes.
