ORLANDO – The UCF volleyball team checks in at No. 25 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 Coaches Poll, released by the organization on Monday.
The Knights debut in the poll after starting the season 8-0. It's the first time in program history that the Knights finished non-conference play undefeated. They are also one of just six remaining undefeated teams in NCAA Division I.
The Black and Gold lead the country in hitting percentage at .319.
This is the Knight's first appearance in the AVCA Top 25 since they were ranked 21st on Nov. 26, 2018.
UCF now turns its attention to conference play as the Knights look to win the American Athletic Conference title for a fifth straight season. They open conference play against Memphis on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. ET.
