ORLANDO – For the 13th time in 14 seasons, the UCF women's soccer team was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches with a Team Academic Award after compiling a 3.45 grade-point average during the 2021-22 academic year.
A total of 746 soccer teams posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher to earn the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year. UCF was one of 130 schools who had both its men's and women's programs among the recipients.
The Knights were strong in the classroom this year, placing 22 on the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
UCF begins its preseason slate on Aug. 6 against FAU.
