ORLANDO – The UCF women's soccer team will head to NC State for the first round of the 2022 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
The Knights check in as a nine-seed and will take on eight-seed NC State on Sunday, Nov. 13 at noon at Dail Soccer Field.
UCF leads the all-time series against the Wolfpack with a record of 5-3. The two sides have faced off three times in the NCAA Tournament with NC State winning twice.
UCF won the American Athletic Conference regular season championship by going undefeated in conference play during the regular season.
The Black and Gold cleaned up in the conference award season. Kristen Scott won AAC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in goals and points. Caroline DeLisle took home AAC Goalkeeper of the Year honors for the second consecutive year.
Scott and DeLisle joined Darya Rajaee and Dayana Martin on the All-Conference First Team. Georga Eaton-Collins was named to the All-Conference Second Team and Mia Asenjo was unanimously selected to the All-Rookie Team.
Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak and her staff took home AAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors for their fourth time at UCF.
