Men's Tennis Releases 2023 Schedule

ORLANDO – The UCF men's tennis team has released its 2023 schedule. The Knights will be playing 11 home matches at the UCF Collegiate Tennis Center at the USTA National Campus.
 
The Black and Gold will have four matches against Big 10 opposition, two against members of the ACC, two against current Big 12 teams, and two meetings with SEC teams. 14 of UCF's 21 matches will be against teams that finished last season in the ITA rankings.
 
UCF will start their 21-match season at home on Jan. 21 against No.2 Florida, followed by another home match the next day, Jan. 22, against Georgia Southern. The Knights will finish out the month of January competing at the ITA Kickoff in Columbus, Ohio on Jan. 28 and 29. The Knights will face No. 5 Ohio State in the first round of the tournament before facing either No. 44 Tulsa or No. 52 Oregon the following day.
 
On Feb. 3, UCF will go up against Stetson at home before traveling South to face another Florida foe, No. 49 FAU, on Feb. 5
 
The Black and Gold will then head to the Midwest to play No. 50 Illinois on Feb. 10, followed by a match against Nebraska in Lincoln on Feb. 12. The Knights will return to Florida for the last away game of the month to play against No. 30 Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. The last weekend of February will be spent at home playing against North Florida on Feb. 24 and No. 22 FSU on Feb. 25.
 
The Knights will begin March in Stillwater, Okla. on Mar. 10 to play Oklahoma St. and then visit Dallas to play No. 28 SMU on Mar. 12. UCF will return to Orlando to go up against No. 5 Ohio State on Mar. 15 and No. 12 Texas on Mar. 18. Remaining at home, the Black and Gold will play against No. 46 Arkansas on Mar. 22 and Wichita St. on March 24.
 
The Knights will April with their third conference contest of the season, visiting No. 42 Memphis on Apr. 2, UCF returns home to face Tulane on Apr. 5.
 
The War on I-4 is set to take place in Tampa on Apr. 9 against No. 45 USF. The Knights will conclude the regular season at home against No. 44 Tulsa on Apr. 16.
 
The American Athletic Conference Championship will be hosted by UCF this year. The tournament will take place from Apr. 21-23 at the UCF Collegiate Tennis Center at the USTA National Campus.
