Men's Hoops Adds Two on National Signing Day

ORLANDO – The UCF men's basketball team signed a pair of future student-athletes for the 2023-24 season, inking Comeh Emuobor and Joey Hart on National Signing Day.

"We're excited to have Comeh and Joey be a part of the UCF family," said head coach Johnny Dawkins. "They are both going to be terrific additions to our program moving forward."

Emuobor has been a standout in the state of North Carolina since his freshman year at Enloe High School where he was a member of the varsity squad. He was the TISAC Conference MVP as a sophomore and was named to back-to-back North Carolina All-State Teams in his sophomore and junior seasons. Emuobor has just begun his senior campaign at Brewster Academy, as he and the team are out to a 1-0 start.

According to 247 Sports, Emuobor is the eighth highest ranked recruit to ever sign with UCF. He is ranked as the seventh best player in his class in North Carolina. He is rated as a three-star recruit.

Joey Hart | G | 6'4 | Linton, Ind.
Hart was ranked as a top-five player in the state of Indiana during his junior year after averaging 20.3 points per game. Hart was the leading scorer at the Under Armor Association through their two April sessions and participated at the Under Armor Top 60.

Hart has earned all-conference honors in all three of his high school seasons so far, as well as leading his team to two sectional championships. His junior season saw him make Indiana Junior All-Stars as well as earning a spot on the Indiana Supreme 15 list.

Hart is rated as a three-star recruit, according to 247 Sports. Off the court, Hart participated in track and field, running the 400-meter dash and doing high jump.
