UCF Checks In at No. 25 in First CFP Rankings

ORLANDO – UCF is listed at No. 25 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the 2022 season, the committee announced Tuesday on ESPN.

With a 6-2 record on the year after defeating No. 20 Cincinnati on Saturday, the Knights appear in the CFP rankings for the first time since 2018 when UCF was ranked No. 8 in the last rankings released. UCF is the only team from the state of Florida in the rankings.

UCF will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 5, when the squad travels to Memphis. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
