FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The UCF men's golf team wrapped up play on the second day of the Blessings Collegiate Invitational with a team score of 302 Tuesday afternoon at the Blessings Golf Club.
Three different Knights carded a score of 75 on the day to tie as the best for the team. Markus Braadlie, Egor Eroshenko and Johnny Travale were all three over on Tuesday. Braadlie tallied three birdies with a 37 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine, while Eroshenko was even par through the first nine holes with a pair of birdies and three over on the back nine.
Travale logged three birdies and had a 37 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine. Despite a pair of tough holes on No. 14 and No. 16, Travale turned in a great day and is tied for 14th after the first two days of action in the individual standings.
Juan Camilo Vesga recorded a 77 (+5) and Luis Carrera was six-over-par with a score of 78.
As a team, UCF charted 11 birdies with each player earning a birdie on hole No. 2. The Knights are 11th following the first two rounds of play with a team score of 609 (307 + 302).
UCF will conclude play in the invitational on Wednesday with a noon (ET) tee time. Live coverage will be available on Golf Channel starting at 4:30 p.m. ET.
