Women's Golf Wraps Up Day One in Fourth at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. — UCF's Tunrada Piddon turned in a strong first round at the Landfall Tradition on Friday. The senior is tied for 10th in the individual standings with a score of 69 (-3) following the first day of action at Country Club of Landfall on Dye Course.

As a team, UCF women's golf fired a team score of 284 in the first round to sit at fourth in a stacked field of teams, which includes six ranked teams.

Piddon recorded four birdies on the day, finishing the front nine one under before ending the back nine two under. Pimpisa Sisutham logged the next-best score for the Knights with a 70 (-2) to tie for 12th. She finished the day with back-to-back birdies on hole No. 5 and No. 6.

Zoe Allaux was one under with a 71, with a total of three birdies on the day.

Jess Baker and Anna Nordfors tallied scores of 74 (+2) and 75 (+3), respectively. Baker started out with a birdie on hole No. 1 followed by one on No. 12.

UCF will tee off at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday in the second round of the Landfall Tradition.
