Women's Golf Heads to Landfall Tradition

ORLANDO-- The Knights will head to Wilmington, North Carolina as they are set to tee off in the Landfall Tradition this weekend, looking to cap off their fall schedule with a big victory.
 
The three-day tournament tees off on Friday, Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m. and runs through Sunday, Oct. 30, with teams playing one 18-hole round of golf each day. Teams will play on the Par-72, 6,150-yard Pete Dye Course.
 
The Black and Gold are among one of the 18 teams that will be attending the tournament. The following teams will be in attendance: No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Wake Forest, No. 4 South Carolina, No. 10 Duke, No. 11 San Jose State, No. 19 Florida State, Michigan State, Penn State, North Carolina, Tennessee, Furman, UNC Wilmington, Maryland, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Alabama, NC State, and Purdue.
 
The Landfall Tradition is hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Fans can follow along with scores live on golfstat.com.
 
The Knights' lineup for the tournament will feature Tunrada Piddon, Anna Nordfors, Pimpisa "Sandwich" Sisutham, Zoe Allaux, and Jess Baker.
 
Finishing in sixth place at last year's Landfall Tradition the Knights are ready for a strong competition this weekend.
