Women's Soccer Heads West For War on I-4

Match Notes

ORLANDO - UCF women's soccer team will take on USF in Tampa at the Corbett Soccer Stadium on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+. This is the final match for the Knights in the regular season as well as the final War on I-4 matchup as conference foes.
 
The Knights defeated Houston 1-0 to clinch the AAC regular season title. During the game against the Cougars, Scott scored her ninth goal for the season this being one of her career highs. In the second half UCF held the Cougars to zero shots. The Knights have not allowed a goal at home in over 270 minutes, the last goal being on Sep. 4th.
 
This was the fourth time winning the AAC regular season championship for Head Coach Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak. She had previously won it in 2013, 2014, and 2017. Her coaching staff has the most regular season titles in their 10 years of any of AAC teams.
 
The Knights will host the conference tournament semi-finals and finals at the UCF Soccer Complex on Nov. 3 and Nov. 6.
 
The Bulls are coming off a 0-1 loss against the Cincinnati. The last time the Knights and the Bulls took the field together the Knights fell short in double overtime leaving with a score of 2-1. The Knights are ready for this match looking to come away with a win to end the regular season.
 
Six War on I-4 points are up for grabs. The Knights currently lead 3-0 after volleyball swept the Bulls on Oct. 19.
