Women's Soccer Ranked in United Soccer Coaches' Poll and Top Drawer Soccer Top 25

ORLANDO – The UCF women's soccer team ranked in the top 25 of both national polls, checking in at No. 22 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll. In the latest RPI rankings for the season, the Knights came in at No. 26.

The Knights checked in at No. 22 and No. 24 after their victory against Houston this past weekend, which secured the first American Athletic Conference Regular Season title since 2017. This is the Black and Gold's fourth conference title since joining the AAC in 2013.

In the first half of the game against Houston, Kristen Scott scored the only goal for the Knights with an assist from Dayana Martin. The Black and Gold backline put up a tough defense only allowing three shots, with one shot on goal that was saved by Caroline DeLisle.

Not only did this game lead to a conference title, it was also the team's sixth consecutive win and pushed their unbeaten streak to eight. UCF has eight total wins this season, with a 6-0-1 conference record.

UCF has their last regular season game this Thursday against USF, and then will prepare for the conference tournament. The Knights regular season championship earned them a first-round bye. The semi-final and championship game will be on Nov. 3 and Nov 6 and will be hosted at the UCF Soccer Complex.
