Day Two Results | Round Three Pairings
ORLANDO – The UCF men's golf team ended play on Monday with a team score of 298 following day two of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational at the Isleworth Country Club.
Egor Eroshenko had a solid showing this afternoon as he stayed consistent on both the front and back nine, shooting one under on each. Eroshenko shot one of his three birdies on the 17th hole, which propelled him to the team's best score of 70 (-2) on the day.
Two Knights left the course with a score of 77, as Johnny Travale and Chase Haygood each shot five over. Luis Carrera remains atop the player leaderboard for the Knights, as he had a squad-best four birdies and shot a 74 (+2), moving him into a tie for 13th entering tomorrow's final round. Markus Braadlie was nine over par with a score of 81.
Despite a tough front nine, the players bounced back with a strong showing in the final nine holes as both Eroshenko and Carrera shot under par. Clement Charmasson turned in a strong round on Monday, recording a score of 74 (+2).
As a team, UCF tallied 11 birdies with each golfer contributing at least one.
The Knights sit in 10th place overall with a team score of 586 (288, 298) following the penultimate day and now look to finish strong tomorrow, concluding the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational. Tee time is set for 8:25 a.m.
