ORLANDO - Kristen Scott and Caroline DeLisle took home American Athletic Conference Weekly nominations this week after wins against Cincinnati on Thursday and Tulsa on Saturday.
"I'm extremely proud of both Carol and Kristen for their resilience and work ethic this season," head coach Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak said. "It is nice to see they are being recognized by the conference. They have been strong leaders who have made a huge impact on our team's success so far and I know they will use this as motivation to keep up the good work."
Scott won her first AAC Player of the Week award of her career after racking up braces in each of the Knights' matchups. The Orlando native's four goal week brings her to a team-leading eight goals on the season. With 32 career goals, Scott moved up to 7th all-time in the UCF women's soccer record books.
Caroline DeLisle has won AAC Goalkeeper of the Week for the second week in a row and for the fourth time this season. DeLisle's two saves helped the Knights keep Cincinnati scoreless. The Tampa native racked up four saves in the matchup against Tulsa.
