ORLANDO—Abby Hansen and McKenna Melville each received American Athletic Conference Weekly Honors after helping the Knights to a 2-0 week, the conference announced on Monday.
McKenna Melville was named AAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season. She recorded a total of 37 kills, 18 digs and six blocks. The graduate student passed another career milestone by recording 1,500 digs on Sunday against East Carolina. Melville is currently leading the Nation in kills (5.52) and points (6.15) per set.
Abby Hansen was named to the AAC honor roll for the first time this season. The Phoenix, Arizona, native recorded 16 kills and tallied 10 blocks.
The Knights will host the War on I-4 with South Florida on Wednesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. The match will air live on ESPN+.
