ABOUT THE OWLS
UCF and Florida Atlantic have met three times in the history of the programs with the Knights winning each matchup, two of which have been held in Orlando and one in Boca Raton.

In its last trip to Boca Raton and last meeting between the teams, UCF earned a 48-14 win on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, behind a stellar offensive performance, as the 18th-ranked Knights piled up 574 total yards against the Owls, headlined by 312 yards rushing and 262 yards passing.

UCF is averaging 45.7 points per game in the series, while FAU has scored 26.3.

Florida Atlantic is in its fourth season under head coach Willie Taggart, who led the Owls to a bowl game appearance in his first season in 2020. Last season, the FAU was 5-7 overall and 3-5 in the Conference USA. The Owls were 5-3 after a 28-25 win against UTEP, but ended the season by dropping its last four games.

Quarterback N'Kosi Perry leads the offense, as he has passed for 879 yards in the first three games of the 2022 season with nine touchdowns. The Miami transfer also has 53 rushing yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns. Running back Larry McCammon III ranks fourth nationally in rushing yards with 303 and leads the CUSA.

EVERYONE'S WATCHING
Last Friday's UCF-Louisville game was the most viewed ESPN2 Friday game since 2013 with more than 1.8 million viewers. The mark is also the most watched regular season game on ESPN2 since 2017.

BOWSER'S IN THE ENDZONE
Isaiah Bowser recorded his sixth career game with multiple rushing touchdowns against Louisville last Friday. He had four rushing touchdowns in 2021 vs. Bethune-Cookman, two in 2021 Gasparilla Bowl vs. Florida and two vs. South Carolina State on Sept. 2 in the season opener.

While at Northwestern he had a pair of rushing touchdowns in his first career start in 2018 vs. Rutgers and two vs. Minnesota that same season.

KNIGHTS IN ROAD OPENERS
UCF has won first road game of the season in four of the last five years. Last year, the Knights dropped a 42-35 game at Louisville but opened the 2020 campaign with a 49-21 win at Georgia Tech.

In 2019, the Black and Gold defeated Florida Atlantic in its first road game and UCF won 56-17 at UConn in 2018 in the squad's first road game.

STELLAR DEFENSE
UCF has held opposing teams to just a 20% third-down conversion rate, which is the eighth best in the NCAA.

The Knights have allowed just 28 first downs on defense this season to rank 23rd nationally and second in the American Athletic Conference. The Knights limited South Carolina State to just nine first downs in the season opener and Louisville recorded 19 first downs.

HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE
UCF's all-time record of 74-23 (.763) at FBC Mortgage Stadium ranks in the top 15 in the nation for best win percentage in a current home stadium.

Since 2017, the Knights are 31-3 in home games at FBC Mortgage Stadium.

The Knights finished last season undefeated at home, marking the seventh time in UCF's FBS era, the ninth overall, and the fourth time in the last five years.

Only 22 teams in the nation completed the 2021 regular season undefeated at home.
