Schedule
ORLANDO – Coming off its 16th NCAA Regional appearance and eighth in the last 11 seasons, UCF women's golf head coach Emily Marron announced the Knight's 2022-23 season schedule on Monday. The schedule features nine regular-season tournaments in addition to the American Athletic Conference and NCAA Championships.
"Establishing a nationally-competitive schedule is something we promise to our players," said Marron. "I take great pride in making sure we are going head-to-head with the best teams in the country at every tournament we compete. We have assembled a very strong team this season and are excited to give them the opportunity and experience to play against some of the best players on the some of the best golf courses in the U.S."
The Knights will open the season at the Cougar Classic hosted by College of Charleston Sept. 12-13 at the Yeamans Hall Country Club in Charleston, South Carolina. UCF will next be in action the following weekend at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate (Sept. 19-20) in Knoxville, Tennessee.
October 3-5 the Knights play at the Blessings Golf Club in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas in an event that will air live on the Golf Channel. The Black and Gold will close out the fall portion of their schedule Oct. 28-30 in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the Landfall Tradition with UNCW as the host.
UCF opens the spring slate by hosting its annual UCF Challenge, from Feb. 5-7 at Eagle Creek Golf and Country Club in Orlando. The Moon Golf Invitational awaits the Knights from Feb. 19-21 at the Suntree Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida.
The month of March starts with UCF competing at the Gators Invitational (March 4-5) at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Florida. The Knights make a return trip to the state of South Carolina for the Briar's Creek Invitational held at the Briar's Creek Golf Club on March 13-14.
UCF will play against some future Big 12 Conference opponents at The Bruzzy, hosted by North Texas at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, UCF will play in the American Conference Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Brooksville, Florida, from April 16-18. The NCAA Regionals will be held May 8-10 and the NCAA Championship will take place from May 19-24 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
