ORLANDO – UCF men's soccer senior Gino Vivi has been named as a Player to Watch by the United Soccer Coaches ahead of the 2022 season.
Vivi was the Black and Gold's second leading scorer in 2022, scoring seven goals and recording six assists, resulting in a total of 20 points. His performance throughout the season landed him on the American Athletic Conference's Second Team All-Conference. The honors didn't stop there as Vivi landed on the All-Tournament team after scoring three goals and an assist at The American Championships, also earning him the Most Outstanding Player award at the end of the tournament.
Despite being a forward, Vivi ended up on the midfielders watch list for the upcoming season. The lists are being released for the first time this season by the Division I All-America Committees to promote college soccer leading up to the official start date for the regular season later this month. The lists include United Soccer Coaches All-Americans and first or second team All-Region players from 2021, who are scheduled to return for the 2022 season.
