UCF Set For The 2022 American Rowing Championship

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – The UCF rowing team returns to Lake Melton for the 2022 American Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday.
 
The league's championship returns to Oak Ridge, Tennessee for the second straight year. Racing begins at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday and airs live on ESPN+. Live results will be available here.
 
The Knights, who have been receiving votes in the USRowing/Pocock CRCA poll all season, are seeded second in all four events.
 
UCF is one of six squads competing for the 2022 AAC title. Defending champion SMU, who is seeded first, enters the weekend ranked No. 12 in the latest national rankings. Old Dominion, Tulsa, Temple and Sacramento State, will also line up on Sunday.
  
While Sunday features four races, the 2021 team championship will be determined by the points accrued in the three NCAA events: Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8 and Varsity 4. The teams will also compete in the Second Varsity 4.

Order of Events
Second Varsity 4 – 9 a.m. ET
Varsity 4 – 9:15 a.m. ET
Second Varsity 8 – 9:30 a.m. ET
Varsity 8 – 9:45 a.m. ET
