Women's Golf Tied for Sixth After Two Rounds in Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Day two of the Ann Arbor regional is in the books for the UCF women's golf team, and after 36 holes of play, the Knights sit tied for sixth place with scores of 300-304=604(+36).

The Knights are currently 11 strokes off from fourth place Michigan at 593(+25). The top four teams from the Ann Arbor regional will advance to the NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona. In first place is No. 8 Virginia. The Cavaliers shot a tournament-low 281(-3) on Tuesday to bring its two-day total to 575(+7).

Freshman Zoe Allaux was UCF's low scorer for the second straight day on Tuesday, following up a 73(+2) opening round with a 72(+1) score on Tuesday. The reigning AAC Freshman of the Year is currently tied for eighth place with a 145(+3) total. If Allaux is one of the top two individuals in the regional not on an advancing team tomorrow, she will move on to the national championship.

Behind Allaux and currently tied for 21st place is junior Tunrada Piddon, who posted a second straight round at 3-over 74, bringing her two-day total to 148(+6).

Tied for 30th is sophomore Jess Baker, who shot 5-over 76 on Tuesday, bringing her two-day total to 151(+9). Senior Alyssa Lamoureus is fourth on the team with a 160(+18) score after shooting 82(+10).

Also shooting 10-over 82, and playing in her first round after substituting in for Ana Laura Collado, was sophomore Camille Banzet, who is tied for 65th place after her first round of play.

The Knights will wrap play in the Ann Arbor regional with the third and final round on Wednesday. Full results from the Knights' first two days of the regional can be found below.
