ORLANDO – The UCF track and field team is back in action this weekend for the Hurricane Alumni Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla.
The Knights will send their combined-event athletes to compete in the heptathlon for the first time this outdoor season. The event will take place over two days kicking off with the 100-meter hurdles at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Live results are available via PrimeTime Timing.
While this weekend marks the first multi-event competition of the outdoor season, it is not the first multi of 2022. Brittany Floyd won the pentathlon at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, setting a personal, school and conference record with 3,993 points. Holly Cassels also set the indoor freshman record in the pentathlon with a personal best 3,316 points at the conference meet.
