ORLANDO – The UCF track and field team heads out for the final regular season weekend of outdoor competition, making the trip to Jacksonville for the UNF Invitational.
The two-day meet begins Friday evening. The hammer throw, long jump and 400-meter hurdles are all slated for a 6 p.m. starts. Saturday action begins with the javelin at 11 a.m. Track events begin with the preliminaries of the 100-meter hurdles at noon.
Live results will be available for the UNF Invite.
UCF is back in action after sweeping the American Athletic Conference weekly awards for the first time since joining the league. Latasha Smith repeated as the Track Athlete of the Week while Asherah Collins picked up her first Field Athlete of the Week.
