ORLANDO – UCF's Varsity Four has been named the American Athletic Conference Boat of the Week after a victory over Miami on Lake Pickett.
UCF's Varsity Four of Kennedy Keith, Annberlee Hothem, Rachel Dunford, Claire Kaminski and Avery Bethel Four cruised to an open water win over Miami in 7:45.3. The Knights crossed the line nearly 40 seconds ahead of the Hurricanes to pick up the win.
The Varsity Four is the second UCF squad to collect Boat of the Week honors this season, joining the Varsity Eight squad that collected the accolade on March 24.
UCF is back in action this weekend, heading to North Carolina for the Lake Wheeler Invite April 22-23.
