ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 19 UCF women's tennis team is prepped for the War On I-4 matchup with rival, South Florida, on Saturday, April 16, in Tampa, Florida.

A Knights victory would secure UCF's overall series over South Florida for the sixth-consecutive year as the Knights currently lead the series 42-12.

UCF opened conference play last weekend with a pair of wins over SMU, 4-3, and Tulsa, 4-0.

The dynamic duo of Evgeniya Levashova and Marie Mattel continue to be ranked in both singles and doubles.

In doubles, the pair is now ranked No. 42 while Mattel is No. 94 and Levashova is No. 105 in singles.

Singles streaks are alive as Nandini Sharma leads with a 10-match win streak on court six, which is the third longest singles streak in program history.

Sophia Biolay also holds a solid streak of six while Marie Mattel is on a five-match win streak.

WAR ON I-4
South Florida may lead the all-times series, 19-9, over UCF, but the Knights have been dominant in recent years.

UCF is on a five-match win streak as it has not lost to the Bulls since April of 2017 or 1,826 days ago and counting.

THE BULLS
South Florida is 5-14 overall this season and only 3-9 when at home. The Bulls are also on a three-match losing streak with losses to No. 55 Rice, No. 42 FIU, and No. 68 FAU.

South Florida and UCF have seen four common opponents this season. The Knights defeated SMU, Tulsa and FAU while the Bulls lost to all three. But both teams fell to FIU.
