Knights Set for Sunshine State Invite

ORLANDO – The UCF rowing team is back in action this weekend, heading to Sarasota for the Sunshine State Invite at Nathan Benderson Park.
 
The Knights will be joined by fellow Florida squads Miami, Stetson and Jacksonville. Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Northeastern, Tulsa and Drexel will also line up on the water in Sarasota.
 
Friday's heats begin at 4 p.m. with the Second Varsity Four. The Varsity Four, Third Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight follow beginning at 4:10 p.m. The Varsity Eight rounds out the day at 5:20 p.m. Friday's results determine the progression to Saturday's finals.
 
Saturday's action begins at 8 a.m. with the petite final for the Varsity Eight.
