ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's tennis team hosts Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, March 4, and No. 18 Michigan on Saturday, March 6, in Orlando, Florida from the USTA National Campus
 
Both matches will have live stats and be live streamed.
 
The Knights opened the season with a tough schedule, facing eight ranked teams, including four in the top ten.
 
UCF is coming off a strong win 4-1 over No. 37 Arkansas to end a long-road stretch. The Knights clinched the doubles point in yet another tiebreaker on court two while Bogdan Pavel clinched the match on court three in a tiebreak as well.
 
Lleyton Cronje and Cooper White set the tone for the weekend as the duo took down the nation's No. 1 doubles team of Matej Vocel and Robert Cash on court one, 6-3.

THE FIELD
THE EAGLES
Florida Gulf Coast is 6-3 overall this season and 1-3 on the road. The Eagles were on a four-match win streak before falling to Georgia State, 1-4, this past weekend.
 
The Knights have been dominant over the Eagles and have not lost a dual match to them, leading the all-time series, 7-0. In the last meeting, UCF swept FGCU, 7-0 at home.
 
THE WOLVERINES
Michigan is 6-2 on the season with its only two losses coming from top-20 ranked teams of No. 10 Wake Forest, 3-4, and No. 19 Harvard, 3-4, on the road.
 
Most notably, the Wolverines will come to Orlando riding high after taking down No. 1 TCU on the road on Wednesday, 4-1, and extend to a three-match win streak.
 
One Wolverine is ranked in singles with No. 75 Jacob Bickersteth while the doubles team of Nino Ehrenschneider and Andrew Fenty is also highly ranked at No. 14.
 
In the short history, Michigan leads the all-time series over UCF, 0-3.
 
PROMOTIONS
Fans are encouraged to come out and support both the men's and women's tennis team on Saturday as the Knights host Michigan in a double header with the women's match at 12:00 p.m. and the men's beginning at 5:00 p.m.
 
Saturday's match will offer food trucks, games, and chalking as early as 11:30 a.m., autographs between 2:30-3:30 p.m. and a Free Kids' Clinic at 3:30 p.m. To sign up for the clinic, click here.
