ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's tennis team is set for a three-match week, hosting Nebraska on Wednesday, March 16, Illinois on Friday, March 18, and Florida Atlantic on Sunday, March 20 from the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
 
All matches will have live stats and be live streamed.
 
Last time out, UCF swept its doubleheader over both North Florida and Stetson.
 
Despite dropping the doubles point against UNF, the Knights came back to get the first four singles matches to defeat the Ospreys, 4-1.
 
Later in the day, UCF came back stronger to win the doubles point over Stetson and went on to top the Hatters, 4-0.
 
Three Knights went undefeated in singles as Lleyton Cronje, Bogdan Pavel, and Alan Rubio all grabbed a pair of wins on Friday.

THE FIELD
THE CORNHUSKERS
Nebraska is 3-10 on the season with wins over Creighton, Drake, and Wichita State and it is 0-3 when on the road. The Cornhuskers will come to Orlando on a seven-match losing streak with its most recent loss to No. 61 Cornell by a score of 1-6.
 
The Knights and Cornhuskers have only seen each other once in program history back in 2003 where UCF won 6-1.
 
THE ILLINI
No. 63 Illinois is 4-8 so far this season and 0-2 when on the road. The Illini had a notable win over No. 22 UNC, 4-2.
 
A pair of Illini are ranked in singles with No. 62 Olivier Stuart and No. 117 Hunter Heck while Heck and Lucas Horve are ranked No. 35 in doubles.
 
The all-time series between the Knights and the Illini is tied at one all but UCF won the most recent matchup in 2020 while on the road, 4-3, over Illinois.
 
THE OWLS
No. 64 FAU has an overall record of 9-3 this season and is 2-2 on the road.
 
The Owls have one doubles team ranked with No. 41 Hunter Robbins and Carles Sarrio.
 
UCF dominates the all-time series over FAU, 29-9, and the Knights are on a four-match win streak over the Owls, including a 7-0 sweep last season. UCF has not lost to FAU since 2016.
