ORLANDO – The UCF men's golf team wrapped up day one of the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Sunday, finishing roughly one and a half rounds of golf and sitting tied for 13th with a score of 300(+15).
Sophomore Egor Eroshenko leads all Knights at 1-under par after shooting 70(-2) in round one and sitting 1-over through 13 in round two. The Rostov On Don, Russia native is tied for 14th place.
Behind Eroshenko are senior Johnny Travale and Teddy Tetak, who finished out the Sunday at 2-over- and 4-over-par, respectively. Travale turned in a 3-over 75 round one but has settled in 12 holes into the second round with a 1-under score, while Tetak is even in round two after shooting 4-over 76 in round one.
Finally, freshman Jonah Leach is shooting a combined 10-over par though the first round and a half, while senior Luis Carrera is a 12-over.
Rounding things out for the Knights, freshman Nicholas Estrada shot 1-over 73 in round one and is even through six in round two.
